With a commitment to sustainability, productivity & efficiency, Waringa Farming continually adapt and evolve to strengthen its potential.
Waringa Farming is a broad acre, family farming business in the Northern Agricultural region of Western Australia, owned by John and Kristen Warr.
As a cropping enterprise producing wheat, lupins and canola for the export market, the farm’s location at Yuna, just 70km from the coastal city of Geraldton, is enviable for its direct access to port and regional services.
The Waringa team works together to continually invest in and improve all aspects of the farming business, including infrastructure, equipment, farm practices and people.
Whilst maintaining a focus on sustainable stewardship of the land, assured by the increased efficiencies of a scale and preparing for future generations, Waringa Farming is driven to expand its operations in the region.
John Warr is a 4th generation Chapman Valley farmer. Passionate about farming and its future sustainability. John is constantly researching and adapting new technologies and practices into the farming business.
Knowing that our people are essential to our endeavours, but also that farming is about a lifestyle choice, we are commited to providing the best environment and resources we can for our team. Most of our people live on farm, in quality homes with close proximity to townsites and schools.
